BBC will use the HD PRO 40 frame rate converter for 2012 Summer Olympics coverage

XForm Systems announces an agreement with the BBC covering the rental of an HD PRO 40 frame rate converter for the coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics. As always, the BBC undertook extensive testing and evaluation of the HD PRO 40 frame rate converter which is to be housed at their London Broadcast Center.

RTL Group has purchased four HD PRO 40 frame rate converters

RTL Group has purchased four HD PRO 40 frame rate converters for the transmission and conversion of HD and SD signals for its various brands such as NTV and SAT1. The units are located at their Cologne Broadcast Center and are used to process content ranging from news footage to live sporting events. We are proud that RTL engineers chose the HD PRO 40 after vigorous testing of several competitive units.

ENCOMPASS uses HD PRO 40 frame rate converter for Wimbledon coverage

Encompass Digital Media used seven HD PRO 40 HD frame rate converters to support Wimbledon coverage at their Stamford Production facility. The units were used for frame rate conversion of HD signals that were broadcast by ESPN 3.com. Additional units were located at Encompass' London location during the tennis championship coverage.

Hibernia Media purchases HD PRO 20 frame rate converter

Hibernia Media has purchased a HD PRO 20 frame rate converter for the transmission and conversion of HD signals from this month's Royal Wedding in London. The equipment was evaluated at their Baltimore, MD. location and used on location in the UK.

Deutsche Welle chooses HD PRO 40 frame rate converter

Video International/XForm Systems announces the sale of two HD PRO 40  frame rate converters to long-time Video International customer Deutsche Welle. The units will be located at the main studio in Berlin and their studio in Washington, DC.

BBC NEWS TAKES DELIVERY OF XFM-50 BROADCAST PROCESSING PLATFORM

XForm Systems delivers three XFM-50 modular systems equipped with SD-SDI standards converter cards to BBC News. The BBC undertook extensive testing of the XFM-50 modular system prior to ordering these cost effective and versatile units. The units are intended for installation in Singapore and other locations in South East Asia.

SOUNDVIEW INSTALLS XFM-50 MODULAR SYSTEMS

Video International announces sale of three XFM -50 broadcast processing platforms to SoundvView Broadcasting in New York. The ethnic broadcaster SoundView Broadcasting, LLC.  has added more standards conversion capabilities at their NOC in Long Island City, New York which was already using prior generation QUATTRO 2000 standards converters.
